THE MIND

DEFINITION OF THE MIND

The mind is responsible for one’s thoughts and feelings.

It thinks, imagines and forms ideas. The thought process is the basis of all emotion, perception, will, imagination, desire and sensation.

The mind is a non-physical substance that has consciousness and self awareness

The mind is everywhere, it influences every cell of our body.

Science has discovered we have a thinking body, every cell in our body "thinks". We are constantly conveying messages from our mind to our body through an intricate system comprised of the bloodstream, nervous system and hormones secreted by the endocrine glands.

When you think a thought you make a molecule called a neuropeptide. Thoughts, feelings, emotions and desires translate into neuropeptides in the brain and other parts of the body. The neuropeptides and their receptors regulate every aspect of human physiology.

Our minds and bodies work together. The mind transfers its feelings over to the body and if the information is not processed effectively, meaning negative, destructive issues that are left unresolved, then molecules upon molecules upon molecules can make disease in the body as you are left feeling ill at ease or literally, dis-eased.
