THE BODY
DEFINITION OF THE BODY
Our bodies are our entire structure and are composed of interactive systems. There are specific functions for each of the organs in these systems, but they cannot operate by themselves.
These systems are :- respiratory, nervous, digestive, excretory, endocrine, skeletal, muscular, circulatory and integumentary.
Our bodies reflect the events and experiences we have had in our lives. This is expressed by the way we move, function and operate. We are the sum total of all that has happened to us. The body retains everything it has ever experienced, all the events, emotions, stresses, strains and pains of life are locked within the bodily systems.
It is most important that the root cause of the disease and its symptoms are discovered. If the body is solely treated with the exclusion of mind and soul then the disease and its symptoms return. A ‘plaster patch will just cover over the problem’, symptoms will accelerate and a bigger disease will be made by the body.
The mind and soul need to become involved to recognise what it is one is in need of learning, then the body can stop making the symptoms. Of course the body will often need some help in its steps to recovery, but it has an amazing ability to heal itself. It is quite capable of regenerating organs, knitting bones and repairing nerves. When symptoms of disease have been left untouched for too long, the body needs greater assistance and organs may even have to be removed.
