People who have an unknown sickness tend to ignore the symptoms and hope they go away, however the longer you leave the unknown sickness the worse you will feel and you may even begin to pretend to yourself the symptoms are no longer there.
Most people suffer from headaches and a general feeling of unwell at some point in time but if you feel your symptoms do not have a specific reason and they are not getting any better over time it is best to get seen by a doctor even if it is simply to ease your mind.
Ignoring an unknown sickness could have disastrous effects, if you have something serious the sooner this is diagnosed and treated the better. That said your unknown sickness could be something that can be treated with a course of medication and all your worry would have been for nothing.
Unknown sickness can cause a significant amount of stress to an individual, often making the symptoms seem worse than they really are. The most important thing you can do to get you on the path of feeling better is to see a doctor and find out the cause.
With so many diseases and illnesses around today it is important to try to live a healthy life to reduce the posiblity of having a certain disease. Understanding the right foods and introducing some exercise into your life could reduce the risk of heart problems later in life.
It is never too late to change your lifestyle, even if you are in you 50s and have always been a smoker, don’t think 'its too late now' it isn’t, giving up unhealthy aspects of your life at any point will only make you feel better and help towards a longer healthier life.
It is important to teach and bring our children up as healthy and active as we can, reducing as much risk of unknown sickness as possible and educating them on the right foods to eat and what is best to avoid helping you to remain fit and healthy.
Above all it is imperative that we do not ignore lumps and bumps that are worrying us, or to ignore the feeling that isn’t right but won't go away, you may find it is nothing and have saved yourself months of worry.
If the problem is something that you feel embarrassed about remind yourself that doctors are there to help and have probably seen many many people with the same symptoms. Having an unknown sickness diagnosed is the best way to begin the path of getting well again.
